This survey is open to people living throughout Australia with a spinal cord injury and closes on 16 July 2012.

Spinal Cord Injuries Australia (SCIA), in partnership with the Social Policy Research Centre (SPRC) based at the University of NSW, has commissioned a study to identify the goals, aspirations and achievements of the many people living with spinal cord injury throughout Australia. Many of these goals and aspirations may be hindered by barriers such as lack of government funding for service access, being ineligible for financial compensation for the spinal cord injury and lack of access to buildings, facilities and the built environment.

It would be greatly appreciated if you could complete the online survey (details below) to provide specific aspects of your life and the data will enable SCIA to increase its understanding of any achievements, goals and barriers affecting the quality of life of people living with spinal cord injury in Australia. It also has the purpose of making the government and funding bodies aware of the issues and gaps in service delivery.
