  I was editing a picture and had to save some of the layers i was working on to continue the next day so to keep the transparent background i saved them as gif files but they lost pixels and looked terrible how do i save them the way i need and still keep them the same (have i explained it good enough lol)

  Well probably best to use plain ‘save’ and save as .psd (photoshop document) or .psp (paintshop pro). That retains all layers and colours.
